We are delighted to announce that Kingswood Photographic Society (KPS) is holding another of its renowned conventions this year. It is appropriate that this is the 60th year of the Queen’s reign as the first KPS convention was held in the Queen’s 25th Jubilee Year in 1977. The 2012 Kingswood Photographic Society Convention will be held on Sunday, 7th October from 9.30am until 4.00pm at The Pound Arts Centre in Pound Pill, Corsham, Wiltshire SN13 9HX. Those who attended the last KPS Convention in 2008 will remember what an appropriate venue The Pound is with a 100 seat tiered auditorium. We are very grateful to Fotospeed for generously sponsoring this event and to our three internationally distinguished photographers, Tony Dudley, Gijs van Gent and Des Clinton, who will present their work. Alongside the Convention, Fotospeed will have a stand in one of the adjoining rooms and there will be an Exhibition of KPS members’ work on display. This Exhibition commences on Monday, 3rd September and continues until Sunday, 7th October. We anticipate that seats for this event will sell quickly so please reserve one now to avoid disappointment later on.
